Top Pot

Scaevola aemula 'Top Pot Pink'

  • Fan flower. 6" - 12" tall usually spreading much wider. Lax, thick-leaved spreading perennials native to Australasia and somewhat reminiscent of Lobelia, though generally much tougher in conditions of heat, drought and humidity. A fairly recent arrival on the Horticultural scene with the debut of modern cultivars occurring in the mid 1990s. The best cultivars have masses of bilaterally symmetrical flowers in all shades of blue, violet and lilac plus white and bicolors. Though tolerant of very light shade, they need heat and full sun to do their best.
  • Hardiness Zone: 9-11
